1. Scope
This policy explains how the Keepto website, the Windows and Mac software, and the connection service handle your data. Keepto is the medium that connects ChatGPT to your computer; this policy explains what data passes where in that process.
2. Your Files & Work Content
Your files stay on your own computer. Keepto itself does not read, modify, or store your files; the one actually reading and modifying files is ChatGPT, and only within the folders and permissions you open. To carry out the work you assign, the file content needed is sent to ChatGPT for processing. This content travels directly to your computer through a Cloudflare connection, and Keepto does not store it.
3. Data We Store
To provide the service, we store: the email address you used to register and subscribe, the plan you subscribed to and the number of computers, and license-verification and connection status (for example, whether your computer is online). This data is used only to verify licenses, keep the connection working, and troubleshoot.
4. Third-Party Services
Subscriptions and payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, and we never receive your credit card number. The connection service is transmitted via Cloudflare. ChatGPT is provided by OpenAI; your conversations with ChatGPT and the content you assign are handled under OpenAI's privacy rules. Verification and subscription notices are sent to you by email.
5. Support Emails
When you contact support, we process the content of your message and your email address so we can reply and resolve the problem. Please do not include your ChatGPT password or one-time verification codes in your email.
6. Your Choices
You can adjust the folders and permissions you've opened, revoke the connection, or remove Keepto at any time. To have the email data we store deleted, write to privacy@keepto.ai; subscription and payment records are kept by the payment provider under its own rules.
7. Chrome Extension & Pairing
If you use the Keepto Chrome extension, it pairs with Keepto on your computer and works only within the scope you allow. Pairing and settings are stored on your own device; you can remove the extension and the connection at any time.
